Classification of Etching Solution Regeneration
Etching solution regeneration is mostly used in PCB manufacturing enterprises. Compared with the production process of PCB manufacturing enterprises, the etching process can be divided into three types: alkaline etching, acid etching and micro-etching.
1.Regeneration of Alkaline Etching Waste Liquor
System Principle: During the etching process of circuit board, the concentration of copper ion in etching solution will gradually increase and the etching effect will be reduced. In order to achieve the best etching effect, it is necessary to keep the copper ion (Cu2+), sulfate ion SO42l-) and PH values in etching solution within a reasonable and stable range. To maintain the optimum concentration of the above components in etching solution, it is necessary. Continuous addition of sub-liquor to replace the lost etching ability of the "waste etching liquor" that is "mother liquor". The system can regenerate the mother liquor, waste etching liquor, into a new son liquor, regeneration etching liquor. The main process of the system is electrolytic copper sulfate. The main process is to extract copper ions from mother liquor with extractant first, and then extract copper-rich oil phase with low concentration copper sulfate solution (electrolyte) to obtain high concentration copper sulfate solution (i.e. NEW copper sulfate solution). The electrolyte, then the copper ion is electrolyzed. After stripping, a very small amount of additives is added to the etching solution, which can be recycled into sub-liquid. At the same time, ammonia washing water is recovered and recycled after regeneration.
2.Regeneration of acid etching wastewater
The regeneration process of acid etching is "ion-exchange membrane electrolytic copper". The process divides the anode area and cathode area of the electrolyzer into two separate areas by ion-exchange membrane; the anode area is the regeneration area of waste etching solution, which generates divalent copper ions from the waste etching solution after copper reduction by electrochemical reaction, so that the waste etching solution can be regenerated; the cathode area is the copper recovery area, and selectively transfers ions in the solution through ion-exchange membrane. Let the copper ions in the solution be reduced electronically to copper.
3.Regeneration of Micro-etching Waste Liquor
The equipment of copper recovery system for Micro-etching waste liquor is the equipment for electrolytic treatment of waste liquor produced by Micro-etching system after copper surface processing. Electrolytic removal of oxidant - Electrodeposited Copper process was used to treat micro-corrosion waste liquid. The process of electrolytic oxidant removal is to reduce oxidant such as sodium persulfate, ammonium persulfate and hydrogen peroxide from high concentration to 0 under the reduction of electrode cathode. The process of electrodepositing copper is that after the oxidant is reduced to 0, the micro-corroded waste liquid is reduced to copper by the reduction of cathode, the concentration of Cu2+ in the waste liquid is reduced by more than 95%, the pressure of environmental protection treatment is reduced, and the by-product of economic value, electrolytic plate copper (purity is more than 99.95%) is obtained in the process.
